Business Experience

Soon after arriving in London in 1994 with Ernst & Young, Chuck established a highly successful cross-border transaction consulting practice serving primarily large multinational corporations and private equity funds. He eventually became the global M&A service line leader for Ernst & Young’s highly respected international tax practice.

After being recruited by KPMG in 2001, Chuck became the partner in charge of that firm’s U.S. international tax consulting practice in London. He soon created a successful practice focused on planning for cross-border corporate transactions and financings, as well as for private equity funds.

Practicing in London has allowed Chuck to accumulate significant experience both with sophisticated cross-border U.S. tax planning issues and techniques, as well as non-U.S. tax and commercial transaction matters, particularly in connection with transactions involving the U.S., the UK and Continental Europe.
